Lansing Christian School (LCS) is seeking its next Head of School to begin June/July 2025. Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the Head of School will lead an amazing team of educators within a vibrant learning environment where knowing God, loving His Word, and living for Him are the foundation for everything they do. Lansing Christian fosters excellence in academic, co-curricular, and extracurricular programs while cultivating caring and respectful relationships within the context of Christian community.
He or she will have clarity with God’s calling to serve Lansing Christian School in the following ways.
Exemplify and enthusiastically uphold Lansing Christian Schools mission while protecting and enhancing the school’s commitment to Jesus Christ.
Guide the school into the future while upholding its rich traditions and serve as a visible and approachable leader who is deeply engaged in school life.
Promote the effective operations and ongoing progress of Lansing Christian School by building, leading, and serving strong teams while empowering them for exceptional results.
Attract, hire, and retain highly qualified teachers, staff, and coaches who support and uphold the school’s mission and beliefs.
Steward the resources of the school through sound business management and planning as well as maintaining prudent oversight and development of facilities.
Continually refine the school’s academic and co-curricular programs, updating pedagogical methods, and integrating new developments in education and technology.
