Job Summary

Our search is underway to appoint a new Head of School for the South Campus at St. Augustine Preparatory Academy in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The new leader will begin on or before July 1, 2024. Aug Prep serves more than 1,800 students in grades K4-12 with a trajectory to educate over 2,400 students on our South Campus

We are looking for a mission-aligned Head of School who deeply believes in Aug Prep’s North Star, mission, pillars and model. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for the “AND”: Christ-centered AND academic excellence AND service to the whole child. Aug Prep’s new Head of School will be jumping into a well-oiled machine where an exceptional team with proven systems and processes have allowed the school to grow quickly. Yet, the school is only seven years old and very much still a startup. Aug Prep leads with an entrepreneurial and growth mindset, seeking to have all staff constantly innovating to better serve students.

Strategic Leadership

Serve as the “face” of the South Campus for parents and students. This campus will serve 2,200 students during the 2024-25 school year and grow to serve 2,400 students by fall 2026. Demonstrate a spiritual maturity that radiates a passion for Christ, fully aligned with Aug Prep’s statement of faith.

Campus Leadership

Build and maintain a vibrant, healthy and Christ-centered staff culture. In partnership with principals and organizational leadership, support, develop, retain and recruit exceptional teachers, leaders and staff aligned with the Aug Prep mission and North Star.

Instructional Leadership

Pursue the highest academic standards, working closely with the division Principals and Chief Academic Officer to determine and execute organizational academic focus areas, ensure data-driven leadership and instruction, and exceed goals.

Operational Leadership

Serve as the campus lead for all stakeholders (parents, students, and staff), leading engagement of the campus in partnership opportunities as well as the business operations teams to ensure the campus runs smoothly and strongly to best serve and equip students and staff.
