Allen Academy has a rich history in Texas, as the oldest accredited, non-religious preparatory school in the state. While honoring this heritage, they are intentional in the pursuit of modern practices.

Part of this future vision included a new school head, and thats where NextEd got involved.
Allen Academy was formed by the Allen family over a century ago. Through the years, it has maintained its stellar reputation.
With any school of extended history, it’s important for NextEd to learn where they’ve been to honor the past and steer properly.
The board welcomed our input, especially in matters related to onboarding for the new head and setting him up for success.
