Discovery + Definition
Every search starts with a visit to the school to dive deep into what makes a school unique - and what skills and attributes the school desires in their next leader.
Opportunity Profile
Using the research from Discovery + Definition, NextEd develops a compelling opportunity profile with information about the school, a position description, the challenge for the role, and details on search process.
Talent Analysis
NextEd markets the opportunity and procures an extensive list of potential candidates who are good fits for the role. We handle the initial interview round and provide recorded interviews and progress reports to the search committee.
Review/Interviews
Semi-finalist candidates are presented to the search committee ranked and with comments. Then we work with you to line up in-person interviews, further filtering, and full-day visits for your chosen finalists.
The Offer
NextEd provides “shuttle diplomacy” to relieve the search committee of the often awkward dynamic while in compensation negotiations. We work with the school to produce a term sheet and employment agreement.
Transition Coaching
Optional coaching is available to ensure the greatest possible success during the new Head's onboarding year.
