The successful candidate will work closely with the Superintendent to help lead GCS in the areas of K8 and high school principal support, academics and program development, staff professional development, marketing, advancement, enhancing parent resources, GCS community engagement and new campus development.
Reporting to the Superintendent, the new Assistant Superintendent position and duties will commence on July 1, 2026.
Maintains the mission of Gilbert Christian Schools and ensures that the school maintains its commitment to provide a truly Christian education.
Provides leadership working with campus principals and Curriculum Coordinator in the continual improvement of K-12 academics. Provides leadership working with campus principals and Student Services Director in the continual improvement of student services provided for exceptional students.
Member of the Leadership Team and the Directors Team. Participate in the one-on-one meetings with the Superintendent, direct reports, and the leadership of the marketing of Gilbert Christian Schools. Develop the leadership skills and effectiveness of all principals and vice-principals. Develop relationships with parents and local businesses.
Effectively represents the school to parents, local churches, civic organizations, and the educational community. Keeps the school leaders, staff and parents focused on the mission of Gilbert Christian Schools. Assists the Superintendent to provide a vision for the school as it develops and grows with an eye on the future.
