With a rich 55-year history, Hyde Park Schools (HPS) is fortunate to serve nearly 800 students in 4K through 12th grade today. HPS is a community and a family where students are reminded daily of their value and identity, not in what the world measures, but in Christ. The mission of Hyde Park Schools is to provide a Christ-centered foundation of Biblical truth integrated in strong college-preparatory academics and well-rounded extracurricular activities. They achieve this by grounding their philosophy of education in God’s Word and hiring faculty and staff who love God, love students, and love the pursuit of excellence in their craft.
Hyde Park Schools seeks a visionary and collaborative Lower School Principal to lead all aspects of the 4K–5th grade campus. The Principal ensures smooth school operations, fosters a professional and growth-oriented culture for faculty and staff, and maintains a safe, nurturing environment for students. A strong faith background and the ability to integrate a biblical worldview throughout the school experience are essential. The Principal builds positive relationships with students, parents, and the community, and is dedicated to upholding the mission and core values of Hyde Park Schools while inspiring each child to reach their full potential in a Christ-centered environment.
The lives of our staff, our school's curriculum and instruction, the decision-making processes and all other aspects of our school will be centered around Christ, His character, and His teachings.
We humbly pursue excellence in all that we do.
The truth of God's Word will be integrated into every aspect of our school, including but not limited to academics, extracurricular activities, and relationships.
We view our educational community as a partnership encompassing families, students, faculty, administration, and the Church (the body of Christ).
