Providence Classical Christian Academy was founded in 2004 with just 39 students, after a group of Northwest Arkansas parents set out to bring a distinctive, parent-involvement model of Christian education to the region. Today, Providence operates as a University-Model® School, blending on-campus instruction with satellite days at home, and offers a classical, college-preparatory curriculum across three divisions — Grammar School (K–5), Logic School (6–8), and Rhetoric School (9–12) — serving families throughout Northwest Arkansas. Fully accredited through Cognia and Christian Schools International, and a certified member of University-Model Schools International®, Providence exists to build servant-leaders for Christ — young men and women who think critically, love deeply, and live courageously for God’s glory. Nearly two decades after its founding, Providence continues to grow as a hub for families across Northwest Arkansas who want their children educated — and their faith formed — together as a family.
Providence Academy is seeking its next Head of School to lead the school into its next chapter of mission-driven growth. The Head of School will provide spiritual, academic, and operational leadership for the school, partnering closely with the Board, faculty, and the Providence family to sustain the school’s distinctive University-Model® approach and its commitment to classical, Christ-centered education. The ideal candidate will bring a deep and authentic walk with Christ, a track record of educational leadership, and the vision to unite the Providence community around a shared future.
Providence operates on the University-Model® approach, blending on-campus instruction with satellite days at home — a format now used by more than 90 schools nationwide and designed around increased parental involvement in education.
Beyond academics, Providence students engage in chapel services, house competitions, fine arts, athletics (the Providence Patriots), clubs, and community service, fostering spiritual, intellectual, social, and physical growth.
Providence is accredited through Cognia and through Christian Schools International (CSI), and is a certified member of University-Model Schools International® (UMSI).
Providence serves families across Northwest Arkansas — including Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers, and Bentonville — as well as Southern Missouri.
Providence brings parents directly into the learning journey, combining professional classroom instruction with parent-led instruction at home, reinforcing the school's Christ-centered values.
