Traverse City Christian School (TCCS) is a Christ-centered, preschool through grade 12 school serving approximately 265 students on its campus in Traverse City, Michigan. Founded in 1995, TCCS is the oldest non-denominational Christian school in the Grand Traverse area, drawing families from more than 30 churches across the region. Guided by its mission of glorifying God, partnering with parents, and equipping students to transform the world for Jesus Christ, TCCS provides a distinctively biblical education that develops confident leaders, compassionate individuals, and engaged citizens ready to answer Christ’s calling.
TCCS is seeking its next Head of School to serve as the school’s chief executive officer, advancing its Christ-centered mission through spiritual, academic, operational, and strategic leadership. Reporting directly to the Board of Trustees, the Head of School provides visionary direction and institutional stewardship to ensure the school’s long-term vitality, financial sustainability, and programmatic excellence. As the spiritual and executive leader of the school, the Head of School cultivates a thriving Christian community that integrates faith and learning while strengthening enrollment, financial health, and philanthropic growth, and also serves as the chief ambassador of the school, building and sustaining strong relationships with families, faculty, churches, community partners, alumni, and supporters.
TCCS believes Scripture is the lens through which all of life and learning should be understood. Every subject at TCCS is taught with an eye toward the truth, goodness, and beauty of God's Word, so that students come to see His hand in all of creation.
